Pre-Care & Post-Care

Pre-Care:
  • Avoid alcohol for 24 hours
  • Avoid NSAIDs for 48 hours
  • Come well-hydrated
  • If you have a history of cold sores in the area being treated, let us know prior to your appointment and we may recommend a preventative antiviral medication
Post-Care:
  • No strenuous exercise for 24-48 hours
  • Do not rub or touch the treated areas for at least 4-6 hours to decrease infection risk
  • No other facial or aesthetic treatments to area for 2 weeks
  • No face-down massages for 7 days
  • Do not massage or press injected areas unless directed
  • Sleep on your back with your head slightly elevated
  • Use ice, acetaminophen, and arnica for swelling and bruising
